Secnidazole is an antiprotozoal and antibacterial medicine that works by damaging the DNA of parasites and anaerobic bacteria, leading to their death. It is commonly used to treat infections such as Amoebiasis, giardiasis, and other anaerobic infections.

Warning:
- Avoid alcohol during treatment and for at least 72 hours after use to prevent adverse reactions like nausea and vomiting.
