How it works

Domperidone works by:

• Blocking dopamine (D2) receptors in the gut and brain area that controls vomiting
• This:
  • Reduces the vomiting signal
  • Increases movement of the stomach and intestines (prokinetic effect)
  • Helps food move faster through the stomach
