Cautions with Stadex Eye Drops

Stadex contains dexamethasone 0.1%, a steroid, and is a prescription-only medicine.

• Do not use it for an unexplained red or painful eye without medical advice. Steroids can worsen or hide certain eye infections.
• It should not be used with some corneal ulcers/injuries, herpes simplex eye infections, fungal eye infections, purulent eye infections, tuberculosis of the eye, or glaucoma unless specifically directed by an eye specialist.
