How it works

Tobramycin belongs to a group called aminoglycoside antibiotics. It works by:

• Entering bacterial cells in the eye
• Blocking protein production needed for bacteria to grow
• Killing the bacteria causing the infection

So in simple terms:
It stops bacteria from multiplying and clears the infection.
