How it works
- Iron (ferrous fumarate or ferrous glycine sulfate, depending on the formulation) provides the raw material needed to make hemoglobin, the protein in red blood cells that carries oxygen.
- Amino acids such as glycine, lysine, and histidine help in hemoglobin formation and may improve iron utilization.
- Vitamin B complex, folic acid, and vitamin B12 support red blood cell production.
