  • The Blood Clot Risk: Because this drug promotes clotting, it increases the risk of dangerous blockages. How It Works
Tranalion helps your body retain clots rather than allowing them to dissolve too quickly: 
  • Preserves Blood Clots: Normally, when you bleed, your body forms clots to seal the blood vessels. An enzyme called plasmin eventually breaks these clots down. 
  • Blocks Breakdown: Tranexamic acid prevents plasmin from dissolving these natural seals. This controls hemorrhage and stabilizes the area to significantly lower total blood loss.
