How it works

Gaviscon works in two ways:

• Neutralizes stomach acid (like an antacid)
• Forms a protective “raft” layer that floats on stomach contents and prevents acid from coming up into the esophagus

How to take it

• Taken after meals and before bedtime
• Comes as a liquid syrup, sometimes with mint or anise flavor
• Shake well before use
