How it works

Brinzolamide lowers pressure inside the eye by:

• Blocking an enzyme called carbonic anhydrase in the eye (ciliary body)
• This reduces production of aqueous humor (eye fluid)
• Less fluid → lower intraocular pressure (IOP)
