How it works

Clomifene works by acting on the brain (hypothalamus and pituitary gland) to:

• Increase hormones (FSH and LH)
• Stimulate the ovaries to produce and release eggs

How it is taken

• Usually taken as tablets for 5 days early in the menstrual cycle
• Only used under medical supervision
