- How It Works: Abidec provides a balanced blend of essential vitamins (including Vitamins A, C, D, and various B vitamins) that the body needs for crucial processes like cell production, energy metabolism, immune function, and bone development. It acts as a daily dietary supplement to fill potential nutritional gaps.
- Form:
- Drops: A yellow-to-orange-brown liquid typically for infants from birth to 12 years.
- Syrup: A raspberry-flavored liquid generally for children aged 1-5 years.
- Warning:
- Contains peanut oil (arachis oil); do not use if the child is allergic to peanuts or soya.
- Do not exceed the recommended dose to avoid excessive intake of vitamins A and D.
- Do not give other vitamin supplements containing Vitamins A and D concurrently, unless under medical supervision.
- Drops should not be given to babies consuming more than 500ml of formula milk per day (formula is already fortified).
