Tinidazole is an antiprotozoal and antibacterial medicine that works by damaging the DNA of certain parasites and anaerobic bacteria, leading to their death. It is used to treat infections such as Amoebiasis, giardiasis, and other anaerobic bacterial infections.

Warning:
- Avoid alcohol during treatment and for at least 72 hours after use, as it may cause severe nausea, vomiting, and discomfort.
- May cause nausea, metallic taste, or stomach upset.
- Stop use and seek medical help if rash, swelling, or breathing difficulty occurs.
- Rarely may cause dizziness or numbness—report unusual symptoms.
