Misopt Eye Drops are prescription eye drops used to lower pressure inside the eye in people with conditions such as glaucoma or ocular hypertension.
The exact active ingredient may vary by country and manufacturer, so check the label on your bottle. Many glaucoma eye drops work by either reducing the amount of fluid the eye produces or increasing its drainage.
How to use
- Wash your hands before use.
- Instill 1 drop into the affected eye(s) exactly as prescribed.
- Avoid touching the dropper tip to your eye or any surface.
- Close your eye gently for 1–2 minutes after applying the drop. You can lightly press the inner corner of the eye to reduce absorption into the bloodstream.
- If you use other eye drops, wait at least 5 minutes between them.
