- Name: Roscilox (Ampicillin and Cloxacillin)
- How It Works: It is a combination of two penicillin-type antibiotics. Ampicillin targets a wide variety of bacteria by preventing them from forming cell walls. Cloxacillin is specifically included because it is resistant to enzymes (penicillinases) that some bacteria produce to destroy regular penicillin. Together, they provide a more powerful defense against stubborn infections.
- Form: Oral Suspension (Syrup).
- Warning:
- This is a prescription-only medication; do not use without a doctor’s diagnosis.
- Allergy: Do not use if you have a known allergy to penicillin, cephalosporins, or other beta-lactam antibiotics.
